Christopher William Bowron

Chris is survived by his wife Janelle, daughter Juliet, parents Bill (Debra) Bowron, Carolyn (Steve) Boegner, brother Jeff, and step sister Stephany Boegner .

Chris was born in Traverse City, MI on January 30, 1979. He attended Goodrich High School and was a proud Spartan, graduating from Michigan State University in 2001 and achieving a Masters Degree in Computer Science from State in 2005. Christopher worked at TechSmith in Okemos MI for 15 years where he built many important friendships. He worked on many projects in his time but was most often involved in developing projects for the Android platform. In his spare time, he would often write his own programs most often related to music.

On September 23, 2007, Christopher married the love of his life Janelle Stevens and on December 7, 2011 they welcomed their beautiful daughter Juliet into their lives. He was a devoted Father, and his family was the most important part of his life.

Chris was an avid Guitar player, and enjoyed golf. Music was one of his life’s pursuits and he enjoyed listening, playing and writing about it on his blog. Guitar was his favorite hobby and over the years he developed himself as a strong player. He enjoyed playing golf and had a great group of friends he would often play with. He was a good friend to many and was known as a person who you could always count on. He was a wonderful Husband, Father, Son, Brother, and Friend, and he will be forever missed. He left us much too soon.

There will be no services at this time. The family will be planning a celebration of Christopher's life for later this summer.
