

Dr. Eugene Titov, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully at the age of 81 in Lansing, MI on September 15, 2025. He was born on February 26, 1944, in Moscow, Russia, to the late Asya Postunyan-Titova and Yevgeniy A. Titov.
Eugene graduated from medical school in Moscow and dedicated his career to medical research, specializing in infection control and prevention. In 1971, he married his beloved wife, Tatyana (Tumoyan) Titova, and together they shared a life filled with love, resilience, and dedication to their family. After immigrating to Lansing, MI in 1990, Eugene worked tirelessly and managed to open his own business, American International Bulk Food, to provide for his family and fulfill the American dream.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 53 years, Tatyana; his children Araksina (Igor) Babayan, Paul (Asya) Titov, and Artur (Marissa) Kachkovskiy; and his cherished grandchildren Armen, Andranik, Valerie, Mila, and Aleksandr, all of whom brought him endless pride and happiness.
Eugene will be remembered for his intelligence, compassionate nature, giving spirit, witty sense of humor, and unwavering devotion to his family.
The visitation for Dr. Titov will be held on Friday, September 19th beginning at 12 p.m. at St. Andrew Orthodox Church,1216 Greencrest Ave., East Lansing. Followed by the funeral services at 1:00 p.m.
Burial will follow at East Lawn Memory Gardens, 2400 Bennett Rd., Meridian Twp., (Okemos). A memorial dinner will be held at St. Andrew Orthodox Church following the services.
Flowers, donations (will be given to the charity of his choice by the family) and condolences may be offered at St. Andrew Orthodox Church, 1216 Greencrest Ave, East Lansing.
