Glenn James Dosenberry

Glenn James Dosenberry, age 65, died Saturday, December 18, 2010. Glenn was born April 15, 1945 in Big Rapids, MI, son of Harry and Alma Noreen (Rosser) Dosenberry. Glenn was raised on the family dairy farm in Isabella County and was a graduate of Barryton High School. He went on to receive his Associates Degree at Ferris State University. Soon after, he served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam from 1966 to 1968. Glenn was awarded the Bronze Star and other citations for his honorable and courageous service. Before entering the service in 1966 he married Carol May Lindell. Upon his return from service he began working for Capital Consultants, Inc., Engineers in Lansing, where he was Chief of Surveys. Glenn retired in 2005.

Surviving are his loving wife, Carol; two sons, Ryan Dosenberry and Alan Dosenberry; three brothers, Clyde (Pam) Dosenberry, Paul Dosenberry, and Keith Dosenberry; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, East Lansing Chapel, 1730 E. Grand River Ave., East Lansing, on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at 1 PM. The family will receive visitors from 6-8 PM on Tuesday and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association, 310 N. Main St., STE 100, Chelsea, MI 48818.
