Helen Margaret Dodd, age 85, died September 8, 2014. She was born March 26, 1929 in Detroit, MI to Bernard John and Wincie Margaret (Summers) Malone. Helen loved learning, dogs and astrology, a dedicated mom, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she loved her family most of all. She enjoyed traveling, and was an avid gardener.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Harry M. Dodd, and son-in-law, Donald Japinga. Surviving are her 3 daughters, Amy Japinga of East Lansing; Lee Ann Leski of Okemos; Nancy (Richard) Sharpe of Milford; 2 sons, Tim (Bonnie) Dodd of Linden, Bob Dodd of Howell; 16 grandchildren, Dana Cage, Jennifer Johnston, Matt Hoyt, Cara Heaney, Kyle Sharpe, Steven Japinga, Matthew Japinga, Brian Japinga, Paige Japinga, Michael Japinga, Kevin Dodd, Joe Dodd, Anna Dodd, Emma Dodd, Jacob Leski, Evan Leski; 7 great-grandchildren, Kendyll, Audrey, Gavin, Quinn, Adalynn, Ronnie, and Lillian.

A Graveside Service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, September 11 in Glen Eden Memorial Park, Livonia, MI.
