Age 65, passed away Friday, February 11, 2011. Joe was born April 28, 1945 in Barbersville, KY, son of Wiley and Lilly (Martin) Couch. He was a retired drill-operator and was a member of UAW Local 1618. He enjoyed spending time with his family, gardening and sharing with his neighbors. Joe is survived by his wife of 48 years, Brenda; his daughter, Nancy Ridge; granddaughters, Tia Couch and Brooke Ridge; brothers, Ernie Couch, Duane Couch and Jim Couch; and many nieces and nephews. Joe was predeceased by his parents; his son, Roger Couch and brothers, Sidney, Fred, Arthur, Alfred, William, Bob and Frank. Services will take place at noon, Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 1730 E. Grand River Ave., East Lansing. Burial will follow at Deepdale Cemetery.
