Kenneth Mathew Kleimola

Age 76, passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2015. Ken was born on June 4, 1939 in Ironwood, MI, the son of Mathew and Olga (Niemi) Kleimola. He graduated from Ironwood High School and served his country in the US Army from 1957-1959 as a mechanic. He was employed by Granger Construction and Meijer as a carpenter. Ken was also an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church in Okemos.

Ken married Darlene on August 25, 1962 in Wakefield, MI. She predeceased him on March 7, 2003. He is also predeceased by 1 sister, Alice (Stella) Kleimola. Ken is survived by his daughter Brenda (Gary) Stow; sons, Brad (Lyn) and Keith (Jodi); grandchildren, Rebecca Stow, Ryan Kleimola and Bradyn Kleimola.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, September 25, 2015 at Faith Lutheran Church, 4515 Dobie Rd., Okemos, MI 48864 with Pastor Ellen Schoepf officiating. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the church.
