Ken loved golf, bowling, and had a love of knowledge. After retiring, he enjoyed Wordle and Train Station Online. He served as union president for several years and worked as an elevator mechanic at MSU for 41 years.
He was preceded in death by his son and three sisters. He is survived by his wife, Sandy; his daughter; three granddaughters; one great-grandson; two brothers; two sisters; and their beloved dog, Teddy.
The memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at the Gorsline Runciman East Lansing Chapel, 1730 E. Grand River Ave. East Lansing, Michigan at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until the time of service.
Interment of ashes will take place at a later date at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
