Professionally, Dale spent many, many years as an insurance investigator. In his commitment to always put God first, Dale served as Trustees Chair at the First Baptist Church in Leslie. His children will forever be grateful to he and Linda for ensuring that having a relationship with God is the most important thing in life.
Dale and his wife, Linda, enjoyed and lived life to the fullest with their many years in golf and bowling leagues and Moose Lodge affiliations. God blessed them with an amazing family and a lifetime of wonderful friends. Dale’s family and friends would be certain to share that Dale was quite the prankster. Dale touched the lives of many with his no-nonsense approach to life. He was loving, kind, generous, and a blast to be around and Dale will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
The family wishes to thank all of the wonderful staff at Sparrow Hospital that took such great care of Dale.
In keeping with Dale’s wishes, there will be no visitation, service or memorial. The family is being served by Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, East Chapel, East Lansing.
In lieu of flowers and in keeping with Dale’s spirit of charity, the family asks that donations be made in Dale’s Memory to Mt. Hope United Methodist Church, 501 East Mt. Hope Avenue, Lansing, MI 48910 (www.mounthopeumc.org).
