Lester A Lott

Dear son, beloved brother and father, Lester Lott passed to eternal life with his Savior Jesus Christ on September 14, 2013. Les was born October 24, 1947 in Lafayette, IN. First child of Charles and Helen (Oberg) Lott. He was baptized March 28, 1948 in Lafayette, IN and confirmed June 3, 1962 at Grace Lutheran Church in Lansing, MI. Les grew up in East Lansing and was a Member of Boy Scout Troop 12 with his dad as scoutmaster. Les graduated from Everett High School in 1966. Les retired in 2003 from MSU after 35 years of custodial service in Case Hall. Les loved to travel; he was a sports enthusiast who knew stats like no one else! Les was a happy guy with a great sense of humor. Left to Cherish his memory are his father Charles, brothers Jim and Walt, sisters Jane and Carolyn, sister in law Nita and son Justin. We will miss Les, but are comforted to know that mother and son are now reunited. The family would like to thank all who cared for Les at Burcham Hills Assisted Living, Sparrow Hospital and Dimondale Nursing Center. Visitation will be held Monday, September 16, 2013 at 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Gorsline-Runciman, East Lansing. Funeral Services on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with 1 hour of visitation prior to service at Grace Lutheran Church of Lansing, 528 MLK Blvd, Lansing, MI 48915 Contributions may be made to Grace Lutheran Church of Lansing.
