Letitia Jean Macdonald

Letitia (Tish) Macdonald, 80, of Bay City and Okemos, Michigan, passed away peacefully at Sparrow Hospice on November 27, 2015, surrounded by family and friends. Tish and her twin sister, Pat, were born on March 6, 1935 in Bay City, MI to Howard N. and Letitia (Heaney) Macdonald. Tish graduated from Aquinas College with a BA in Education and taught in Grand Rapids, Alpena and Buena Vista for many years. She was an accomplished artist, photographer and card designer. In retirement she enjoyed these activities, travelling and the many friendships she shared. Tish is survived by her twin sister, Patricia McKenna of Traverse City; her nephew, Stuart Goodman of Lansing; and her niece, Ann Goodman of Traverse City. The funeral mass celebrating Tish’s life will take place at 12:00 Noon on Friday, December 4, 2015 at St. Martha Catholic Church, 1100 West Grand River Ave., Okemos, MI with visitation held one hour prior to the service. An inurnment service will be held at Elm Lawn Cemetery in Bay City, MI at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Martha Catholic Church or Hospice House of Mid-Michigan, 1210 W. Saginaw, Lansing, MI 48915.
