Born in Warszawa, Poland May 4, 1985, died March 8, 2010 at the age of 24. Maciej lived in Poland until 1988 when his family moved to Okemos. He was an Okemos High School graduate in 2003. He was a National Merit Scholar semifinalist, active in the orchestra and participated in the Science Olympiad, and was an avid skier. Maciej attended the University of Michigan and moved to Pittsburg in 2009. He is survived by his parents, Pawel and Ewa (Gincburg) Danielewicz, brother Filip and family in Poland. A memorial service will be held Thursday, March 18, 6:00 p.m. at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 1730 E. Grand River Ave., East Lansing.
