She was preceded in death by her husband, Ike and her son Patrick.
She is survived by 3 children, Michael, Kathy and Sherri, 6 grandchildren, Michele, Andrea, Bryan, Derek, Steven, and Candice, and 2 sisters, Kay and Jan.
Marge was an active member of Okemos Baptist Church (now The Commons Church) for over 50 years. She worked at East Lansing Public schools beginning in 1967 through her retirement. After retiring she volunteered at Sparrow Hospital and also donated hand made blankets to be used in the Sparrow Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Most recently, she started a growing bible study for residents at Red Cedar Lodge where she resided.
She loved traveling with friends, walking the beach, and holidays with family.
A memorial service will be held on February 28, 2026, at The Commons Church, 4684 Marsh Road, Okemos, MI 48864 at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the City Rescue Mission of Lansing or the Commons Church, Okemos.
