Born September 2, 1966, in Detroit; died March 26, 2011, at the age of 44. Dr. Ford was a resident of East Lansing for 11 ½ years and was the former President of Physician Anesthesia Services, serving Sparrow Health System. He was preceded in death by his mother, Gwendolyn, on March 26, and brother, Derek Ford. Surviving are Kiffi, his wife of 14 years; sons, Grant and Noah; father, Leophas; sister, Rhonda (Carlton) Walker; in-laws, Mary and David Malosh; sister-in-law, Kamala (Karl) Ilg; and brother-in-law, Raj Malosh. Memorial services will be held Thursday, March 31, at 5:30 p.m., at the Gorsline-Runciman Funeral Homes, 1730 E. Grand River Ave., East Lansing, with Pastor Henry L. McClendon Jr., of Berean Chapel of Detroit, officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday
