Patricia D. Kennedy

East Lansing, formerly of Detroit

Died January 27, 2013 at the age of 76. Patricia was born June 7, 1936 in Mt. Clemens, MI to Walter and Mary (McCasey) Dupray. She was active as a volunteer and member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Music was an important part of her life and she belonged to her parish choirs for many years.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband John Patrick Kennedy, brother Thomas Eugene Dupray and her parents.

Surviving are her daughters, Brigit (David) Martell and Katie (Don Roach) Kennedy; grandchildren, Amanda (Stephen) Mancewicz, Claire, Brian and Mary Kate Martell; brother John (Cathie) Dupray, sisters Betsy (Ron) Wilson, Katie (Tom) Martin and Nancy (Kevin) Shanahan and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass will be held Thursday, January 31, 2013, 1:30 p.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 955 Alton Road, East Lansing, MI with Rev. Mark Inglot officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 30, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 1730 E. Grand River Avenue, East Lansing, MI with the Rosary at 8:00 p.m. Interment will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield, MI.
