Patsy Adele Tucker

Duluth, GA (formerly of Bath, MI)

Born August 25, 1938 in Nebraska, the daughter of the late Chris and Clara Fredericksen, passed away June 8, 2012 at the age of 73. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dean Tucker; sister, Helen Hart; brother, Douglas Fredericksen; babies, Jeffrey Dean Tucker, and Kristen Kay Tucker. Surviving are daughter, Tamara “Tammy” Lopez of Duluth, GA; son, Todd Tucker of Okemos, MI; granddaughter Maddisen Tucker Lopez (college at University of Georgia); brother Donald Fredericksen; sister, Ida Nybo; several in-laws; nieces and nephews of Lansing area. Dean and Patsy resided in Bath, MI for fifty years, with her husband working for the East Lansing Police Department and Patsy working for the Michigan Animal Breeders and UPS during this time. Patsy’s greatest joy was meeting new people and making lifelong friends through her Mary Kay business. Once widowed, Patsy moved to Duluth, GA to live next to her daughter Tammy and beloved granddaughter, Maddie. For the last 8 years the three of them have enjoyed vacations, church activities, shopping and just life together. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 1730 East Grand River Ave., East Lansing, MI at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Richard Cole and Rev. Tom VanDyke officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Cemetery in Bath. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 11, 2012 at the East Lansing chapel from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Those desiring may make contributions to American Cancer Society, 1755 Abbey Road, East Lansing, MI 48823 in memory of Mrs. Tucker.
