

After high school, Bob enlisted in the Navy and served three years. When he returned to St. Johns, he saw a pretty young lady walking down the sidewalk whom he was later introduced to. Three years later Bob and Margaret (Watts) were married on August 21, 1955.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Margaret; son, Mark (Lauren); daughters, Lesa Stevens, Linda (Bob) Johnson and granddaughter, Mackenzie Stevens; brother, John (Bertha) nieces and nephews.
Bob worked at the Oldsmobile main plant in Lansing for 37 years as an electrician. He taught his children how to hunt and fish and enjoyed sharing those adventures with them. Bob was also known for his gardening expertise and enjoyed working in it. Bob was also an avid Euchre player.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 22nd at Martin Luther Chapel, 444 Abbot Rd., East Lansing 48823. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at East Lawn Memory Gardens in Okemos.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Martin Luther Chapel.
