Rustin Lee “Rusty” Saghy, age 36 of Lansing, MI passed away unexpectedly on January 13, 2015. Rustin was born June 25, 1978 in Lansing, MI to Ronda and Robert Saghy.
Rusty will be forever remembered for his selfless acts of love for his family, many friends, and even complete strangers. His heart was made of gold and he always made an effort to ease any burdens for others whenever he was able. It was easy to love Rusty. A wealth of knowledge, he was the one that everyone called on for advice. He enjoyed fixing many things including cars and small appliances; had a creative mind and enjoyed building projects. His job at Omnitech was one that he loved as it utilized all aspects of his talent and beautiful mind. Rusty also enjoyed traveling having been to Italy, Mexico and Bahamas to name a few. He had a strong love for all animals which included his dogs, cats and even a squirrel, Squeaker.
Most of all, he enjoyed playing with and spending time with his baby girl, Madalyn. He was simply the best daddy and the two of them had a special bond like no other. They both made each other smile and light up each time they saw one another. His playful soul and heart of gold will forever live on in his "Little Tooter Bug". To say that Rusty will be missed is an understatement.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Bonnie Saghy, and Ruth Lott; Uncle Douglas Saghy and Uncle Michael Saghy.
