Ruth Ann Burke

Haslett, Michigan

Born September 11, 1934 in Buffalo, New York to Thomas and Bridget Cook, passed away unexpectedly November 27, 2012. Ruth Ann graduated in 1952 from Sacred Heart High School in Buffalo, NY. She also held an Associates Degree from Lansing Community College. Ruth worked as a clerk for Lansing General Hospital. She was a long time supporter of her Sacred Heart High School. Ruth enjoyed travel and spending time with her

grandchildren.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, John Burke; sons, Joseph and Kevin. She is survived by her daughter, Regina (Keith) Burns; sons, James, Terrence (Barbara) and Vincent; grandchildren, Evan, Adele,

Ian and Alexander; brothers, Thomas Cook and Jack Cook; brother-in-law, Brian Burke daughter-in-law, Bonnie Burke and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Monday, December 10, 10:00 a.m. at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 1730 E. Grand River Ave, East Lansing with Rev. Dwight Ezop officiating . The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service.
