Uncle Terry was genuinely a kind, interesting, forgiving-funny, man. I could always count on Terry and Ninfa to show up to family events. He loved his family and always took interest in what my kids were interested in or what they were up too. I loved how he loved all of his brothers and sisters unconditionally, and loved them for themselves. He was a very special man who will be missed.

Terry always made me laugh, and always had a genuine interest in whatever it was I was telling him about.
He was sincere, honest, and kind-hearted.
I have found memories of him over the years-he will be missed by all that knew him.

Rest Peacefully Uncle Terry-

How very sad it is to loose a loved one. My heart goes out to your entire family. I worked with Terry at DC85 and appreciated his good humor and gentle spirit. He always made me smile, one way or another, and had many interesting things to share. After he retired, I saw him again at the Lansing City Counsil meeting but only had a little time time to talk. Although sad, I am also very glad to have many special memories from working with Terry for almost 15 years. I hope your family will find some comfort in knowing how much we all liked, respected and enjoyed knowing Terry. Sincerely, Trish Pfeifer

The five years that I was Elaina's Girl Scout Leader left me so many great memories of interacting with your family! I treasure watching her grow and bloom with her mother and father as her firm foundation. She is a beautiful woman who is using her gifts well. She will miss her dad so much.

My first memory of Terry was when he was dating my sister, Ninfa and they took me to see Jaws. I was 12 years old. Every time the music played leading up to a shark attack, Terry screamed. Which scared me even more and everyone else in the theater. He also took us canoing many times on the grand river at Michigan State Campus. I stayed with them at their Sparten Village apartment and later read the map while Ninfa drove to Kellogg Center to visit Terry. In recent years we reconciled our differences and I am happy to see that Ninfa and Terry were enjoying their lives together by seeing their FB posts at concerts and canoing. It started with a movie and ended with a movie. I was in Michigan this past May 2019 and Ninfa and Terry took me to see POMS, about a group of women who form a cheer leading squad at their retirement community. Terry fell asleep during the movie while Ninfa and I did chair exercise during cheerleader scenes. We had fun and of course they had to take me to MSU cafeteria. Thank you again, Terry! You are missed.
