Theresa Delores Egan

Theresa D. Egan, 77, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 10, 2017. She was born August 10, 1939 to Casper and Mary (Oliverio) Fucile in Detroit, Michigan. She married William Egan on April 18, 1959 and together they raised two daughters. Theresa loved to spend time with her family, and though she struggled with Parkinson's Disease and its effects for many years, the memories of the Sunday dinners shared with her mother, father, and family will always be cherished.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William, her parents, Casper and Mary Fucile, and her in-laws, Lois and Larry Egan.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Jacquelyn (David) Gruenwald and Kelly (Kenneth) Roberts; her grandchildren, Ryan Gruenwald, Megan Gruenwald, Dana (Mike) Keinath, Bradley (Heather) Shellenbarger, and Jenae Shellenbarger; her great-grandchildren, Noah, Hayleigh, Isaach, Aleyah, Grace, and Kaleb; her brother, Frank (Janice) Fucile; her sister, Barbara (RIchard) Yannatta; and her nieces and nephews, Mark, Jennifer, Victoria, and Chuck.

The family would like to thank the compassionate and caring nurses and staff at Medilodge of Okemos and Compassus Hospice. The support they provided was deeply appreciated during Theresa’s struggles. Ruby Graham was such a supportive and caring lifeline, and Theresa’s family is forever grateful.

At Theresa's request, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
