Anna Marie Roberts

She was born in Peoria, IL to Oryn Eugene and Anna Frances (Finley) Wood, Sr on April 16, 1964. She married Dennis Hopkins on June 11, 1983 in East Peoria, Illinois. He preceded her in death. She later married Jon Roberts on April 15, 2016 in Pekin, IL. He survives.

Anna worked as an Anesthesia Technician for OSF St. Francis Medical Center. She was a friend to many, and she loved her family especially, her grandkids.

She is survived by her daughters, Bonnee (Wade) Watkins, and Genie Hopkins both of Pekin; seven grandchildren, Kali Golden, Breanna Golden, Chloe Golden, Kiera Butler, Damion Watkins, Danielle Watkins, and Quentin Thomas; three sisters, Alice (Jesus) Franco of Virginia, Illinois, Deborah Ward-Wilson and Mary Ellen Wood both of Pekin; and two brothers, Roger (Charreene) Wood of Pekin, and Oryn (Connie) Wood of Abington.

Also preceding in death were both parents and one brother David.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, July 21, 2017 at Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria with visitation one hour prior. Dave McCurdy will officiate. Burial will be at Fondulac Cemetery.
