Betty was born November 30, 1965 a daughter of James and Shirley Smith. She married Steven Gibson on June 14, 1984. He survives.
Also surviving is her mother, Shirley; two sons, Steven (Ellen) Gibson, and Joshua (Jenifer Roe) Gibson both of Peoria; one brother, Jim Smith of deer Creek; five sisters, Joy (Richard) Walters of Morris, Tina (Jason) Redmond of Hanna City, Lucy (Dave) Sutter of Bartonville, Kari (Jeff) Downard of Creve Coeur, and Cheryl Smith of Peoria; and five grandchildren.
Betty was preceded in death by her father and one sister.
Services will be 5:00 p.m. Thursday January 5, 2012 at Remmert Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to services.
Cremation rites will be accorded.
