Carl Edward Rodgers

Carl Edward Rodgers, 83, of East Peoria, passed away on Wednesday June 7, 2017. He was born on June 3, 1934 in Farmer City, IL to James D. and Pearl E. (Whaley) Rodgers. He married Norma Sue Clark on May 29, 1959 in Decatur, IL. She survives. Carl is also survived by three daughters Beth (Steve) Gordon of Fleetwood, PA, Brenda (Eldon) LiaBraaten of Eureka, IL and Rhonda (Leonard) Holloway of Mackinaw, IL; six Grandchildren; two Great Grandchildren and one Sister Darlene (Elmer) Armstrong of Springfield, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Carl was an Army veteran. He had worked for Central Illinois Light Company as an Office Clerk, retiring in 1995, after 43 years of service.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria, IL. A visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Monday, June 12, 2017 at the funeral home.
