

He was born May 18, 1944 in Peoria, Illinois, the son of Flavel and Bernice (Wirnowsky) Clark. He married Linda (Sheer) Clark-Matheney in April of 1984, the love of his life. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters, Bonnie Nash, Charleen Robinson; and 1 daughter, Jay Jean Clark.
Surviving are 4 children, Amanda (Justin) Taylor, Andrew (Brooke) Clark, Christopher Clark, and Crystal (Brian) Wessel; 6 grandchildren, Jocelyn and Brock Taylor, Aleena and Bria Wessel, Bradyn and Ava Clark; his favorite little Buddies, Adam and James; 2 sisters, Sandy (Richard) Hand, Delores (Fred) Kilhammer; and his brother, Weldon (Barb) Dickson.
Junior was a land surveyor for many years. He was employed at Kitchen Cooked in Farmington.
He loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and camping. He had a great sense of humor and was always the life of the party. He was a loving father, grandfather and friend to everyone. He will be missed every day.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, October 3, 2014 at Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria. Celebration of life services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 6725 W. Jones Rd. in Peoria, IL 61604.
