Jacqueline R. “Jackie” Ibeck, 92, of East Peoria, passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at the OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria. She was born on June 18, 1931 in Peoria, a daughter of Thomas C. Snider and Mary Jane (Gross) Snider. Jackie married James E. “Jim” Ibeck on October 9, 1948 in Peoria. He preceded her on January 22, 2006 in Peoria.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; one grandson, Stephen Walker II in 2013; and one daughter-in-law, Lynn Ibeck in 2014.
Jackie is survived by her three children, Mike (Sherry) Ibeck of Peoria, Gary Ibeck of Pekin, and Rebecca (Stephen) Walker of East Peoria; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and a special niece, Carol (Greg) Peterson of Minnesota.
She was of the Catholic faith. Jackie loved to swim and especially loved to spend time with her family.
There will be a private graveside service at Calvary Cemetery in rural Brimfield.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria.
