Jean L. Hart

Born Nov. 12, 1918 in Evanston, IL to Edward and Sarah (Reid) Maston. She married Raymond G. Hart in St. Petersburg, FL in 1943. He preceded her in death in 2007. She was also preceded in death by her parents and brother, Bob.

Surviving are her daughter, Sally (Ronald) Worent of East Peoria; two grandsons, David of East Peoria and Jonathan of Peoria; one niece, Selwa Whitesell of OH; and one nephew. She also had 3 step grandchildren; 11 step great-grandchildren; and 2 step great-great-grandchildren all in OK.

Jean received a BA in education from National Louis University in Evanston. She and her mother operated the Jack and Jill Nursery School in Wilmette for many years. She loved her family. She loved children and taught them in Sunday School and VBS for many decades. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Evanston for over 30 years.

Visitation will be from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 22, 2012 at Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria. Funeral Services will follow at 4 p.m. on Sunday with Rev. Steve Clason officiating. Graveside Service will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Memorial Park Cemetery in Skokie, IL.
