Jody was the son of the late Gerald Krumwiede and Carol Gerber Krumwiede, and step-son of the late James "Moe" Marlott. He is survived by his aunt Kim Falk, aunt Toni Cline, and uncle Butch Thewlis, along with many cousins. His caretakers, who were like family to him, include Pat Bayler, Karrie Bayler, Jodi Bowlander, Gabby Bayler, and Braxtyn Ryan. Jody was also survived by his cherished animals: Sassy, Jemmy, and Waldo.
He actively participated in the Illinois River Valley Special Recreation Association, an organization dedicated to events for individuals with special needs. Jody enjoyed shopping on Amazon, playing video games, and spending time on the computer. He was known for his quick wit.
Jody was preceded in death by his parents, step-dad, aunt Brigitte, uncle Bruce, uncle Jody, and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
He will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.
