Mark L. Woolard

He was born December 30, 1963 in Peoria, IL to Delmar and Shirley Woolard and raised by his grandparents, Dot and Art Woolard. He married Shona Brockett on March 25, 1984. He was preceded in death by his father, his grandparents and one daughter, Marca Woolard.

Surviving are his wife, Shona Woolard of East Peoria, their two children, Jeremy and Jenna Woolard of East Peoria, his mother, Shirley Hedrick of MO, six siblings, Denny Woolard of East Peoria, Del Woolard JR. of Lincoln, Ryan Bale of East Peoria, Sonny Hedrick of Pekin, David Hedrick of TX and Lisa Hedrick of MO. Also surviving are his Aunt Sandy Jones and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Mark worked as a Machinist with Standard Sheet Metal in Peoria and was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union Local #1. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing billiards and riding motorcycles.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2011 from 4 to 7 pm at Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria. Cremation will be accord following the visitation.
