I have been out of town off and on the past few weeks and am just catching up on news. I was shocked to see the news. From his picture I can tell he looked very much the same as when he was in my classroom. I have only fond memories of Nathan. I am so sorry for your loss.

Nate was one of the greatest guys I've ever met. He was a true friend and it was a privilage to know him. He helped me through some of my worst times, and I'll never forget him. He'll be missed by many, because he was so incredible. I love you Nate, I wish I just could have told you that to your face one last time <3

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

hi my name is fred.i was one of nathan class mates from east peoria he was a very good friend of mine he made every body feel like we had something to live for everyday when i saw heard his passing i felt so bad andyet i know deep down that he is in a better place which he is chillin out with the lord i went to school with him everyday at parkview and east peoria he will be missed by alot of fellowclassmates cause even i know he was a terrific friend to hang out with he made school fun for all his class mates and friend but now he is looking down on us from heaven and that he is doing so much better. Nathan u r the best friend  that friend could ever have .  i will miss u buddy ur r the rarest friend that anyone can have rest and peace .your the man!

I had the privilege of working with Nate at URS, We always had fun working together in our group. We were known to prank each other often and Nate had a great sense of humor. He was always very nice and willing to lend a helping hand.

I will always have the most beautiful memories of living at 604 LaRosh (next door)  I will always see Aaron and Nate (Bomb) digging out in the dirt with my good spoons and riding their big wheels up and down the driveway.  How could I forget when Nate snuck in the house when I was gone and decided to paint my new bedspread with fingernail polish. He was so full of life and so loving...I am incredibly sad for all of you.  I do know one thing though.  He had plenty of people ushering him in... Grandparents..Gary, Uncle Bob and Aaron.  Even though we have kind of lost track through the years I still think of all of you often and miss those days spent sipping ice tea on the front porch.  Our thoughts and prayers are certainly with you all. Nate will be missed by all who knew him.
