Stacy Lynn Whitaker

She was born to Brenda Whitaker on February 10, 1979. Stacy attended Lyman High School and received her GED from Illinois Community College. She received a Dental Assistant Technician Diploma from Mid-State Technical College in 2018.



Stacy Whitaker is survived by her two children, Kayla Spurlock and Gavin Whitaker; She is also survived by her mother, Brenda Whitaker; sister, Amanda Whitaker; and two grandchildren, Kingston Spurlock and Creed Whitaker.

She was preceded in death by her first son, CJ Spurlock (2020).

Stacy was a beautiful, loving, witty, kind, funny, and compassionate person. Her smile would light up a room and she could make you laugh almost instantly. She was a great friend, family woman, and a very loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed being in the sun relaxing on the beach and being around her friends and family. Her memory will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved her.

Stacy's family has arranged a celebration of life gathering from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at Christian Union Church, 925 Walnut St., Metamora IL. Friends and family are invited to join in remembrance and support during this difficult time.

Mother, you will always be in our hearts and we will never forget you. We love you so much and may our family find strength and solace in the memories of the love we shared.
