Mr. William Burdette Lear

He was born in Pekin, IL on July 24, 1950 to William and Leola Morris Lear.

Bill was employed as a truck driver for Midland Davis for thirty-four years prior to retirement.

He is survived by his sons: Scott Lear, John Songer and Steve Songer, all of Fort Myers, FL; his grandchildren: Shannon Lear, Cassandra Zelmer, Scott Lear, Jr. and Nathan Lear; his sisters: Kathy Gray and Linda Buckley, both of Peoria; his brother: David Lear of Peoria and nieces and nephews.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, James Lear, Robert Lear and Roger Dale Lear, and a sister, Shirley Kessler.

Funeral services for Bill will be at 6:00P.M. Thursday, June 10, 2010 at Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria. The family will be receiving friends from 6:00P.M.until 8:00 P.M. following the service.

Cremation will be accorded.

Bill’s family will have a gathering for family and friends at the Eagle’s Club- County Side following the services on Thursday.
