My sister and her husband (Debbie and Bob Allen) cared for Barbara with great love and compassion so that she could be with family in her final years. I admire them greatly. My favorite memory of Barbara is when we visited her, grandmother, and Dingy at their home in East Point when we were children. She always wanted to hear us sing and to line up for group photographs. She was an innovative computer scientist and talented pianist and vocalist. She also had a special ability to visualize musical scores as she listened to music. All blessings to her as her spirit continues its journey home.

Michelle and I had the privilege of being Barbara's neighbors for a brief time. She always had a sweet smile and kind word. She will be missed. We are sorry for your loss.

Barb has been in my life for 59 years, but I don't think I ever knew her until the last three. She told me stories of my family that I had never heard before and I am so happy and grateful to have had this time with her. She was an amazing woman. I will miss you. I hope you are with Dingy and Grandmother and you have found peace.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

Over the past two years it has been a pleasure getting to know Barbara. She could talk on just about any subject and both of us tend to stay up late so we had some great conversations. You will forever be remembered and missed.
