Charles W. Crowe

Charles William Crowe, age 74, of Greensboro, GA, passed away Dec. 31, 2013. Mr. Crowe was born Nov. 28, 1939 in East Point, GA. He was a graduate of Russell High School in East Point and Georgia Tech.. He was currently President of Crowe Marine, Inc. and 2nd generation family business owner of Crowe Marine at Lake Oconee Georgia. Enjoyed his two Corgi dogs Dolly and Conway, his grandchildren and traveling to Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents , C.D. Crowe and Beverly Alverson Crowe. Surviving are : wife , Jewell (Julie) Hamner Crowe, Greensboro, Ga., son , Brian Crowe, daughter- in -law , Beth Crowe , Eastonton, GA. , daughter , Amy Crowe Kennedy, son-in-law , Robert Kennedy, Eatonton, GA , grandchildren, Courtney Crowe , Jackson Crowe and sisters, Cheryl Sandifer, Hendersonville, NC and Susan Satcher, Greensboro, GA. Inurnment services will be held Saturday , Jan. 4, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, College Park, Ga. The family will receive friends Saturday, Jan 4, 2014 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm at Historic Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home , 2968 East Point Street, East Point, Ga 30344. In lieu of flowers : Donations may be made to The American Cancer Society or St. Mary's Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation of Greensboro, GA.
