Agnes Whitt, 94, of Chattanooga passed away Tuesday, May 25, 2021. She was a member of Hickory Valley Christian Church and the BYKOTA Sunday School Class. She was also a 50 year member of the East Lake Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jacob Whitt; two daughters, Joyce Ann Baliles and Barbara K. Blair; parents, Elbert Hays and Lena Starkey Hays; sister, Mary Jo Williamson.
Survivors include her sons, Jacob R. (Vicki) Whitt, David E. (Pat) Whitt and Kenneth A. Whitt; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Sarah Beasley; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Saturday at Hickory Valley Christian Church with the Rev. Bill Bond officiating. The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Friday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road, East Ridge, TN and from 10 – 11 AM Saturday at the church. Burial will be in Chattanooga Memorial Park.
