

Ann Forstner Cooper Brooks passed away on Saturday February 5, 2011 after a long illness. She was born in Chattanooga, TN on February 2, 1922. She was the daughter of the late Helen and Ed Forstner and was preceded in death by Robert J. Cooper, Jr., and J.R. Brooks.
Ann was a graduate of City High School and a member of the Penguin Club. She was an avid bridge player and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She worked at Siskin Children’s Institute and Forstner Portrait Studios.
She is survived by her children, Connie (Rick) Jones, Jim (Ty) Cooper, Joe (Marilyn) Cooper, John (Cheryl) Cooper, Charlie (Susan) Danner; grandchildren, Scott (Allison) Cooper, Cooper (Windy) Jones, John R. Cooper, Conlee (Bo) Butler, Kendall Thompson, Rem Cooper, Kimsey Cooper, Shelby Cooper, Chad Danner, Steven Johns; great-grandchildren, Blake Jones, Brook Jones, & Keeley Thompson; and her beloved cat Harley.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, February 13, 2011, at Grace Episcopal Church. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Sunday at the church.
The family wishes to express special thanks to her care givers Briana Keith and the staff at Hospice of Chattanooga.
