Mrs. Neal was a longtime resident of Chattanooga. She worked 13 years for South Central Bell Telephone and belonged to Simpson United Methodist Church in Rossville, GA.
Surviving are her husband of 54 years, Robert T. Neal and her two sons, David A. Neal and Douglas E. Neal; sister Mildred Crosby and brother-in-law, Rev. William Elmer Crosby; brother, Raymond Dixon; and sister-in-law, Shirley Dixon.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Zelma Tindel Dixon; father, Patrick J. Dixon; brother, Leroy Dixon; and infant daughter, Lisa Denise Neal.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Simpson United Methodist Church or the donor’s favorite charity.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at the funeral home.
Funeral Services will be at 1 PM Friday at the funeral home with Rev. Natalie Smart and Rev. Elmer Crosby officiating and additional visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery.
