

member of Ridgeview Baptist Church and the Ruth Sunday School Class.
She retired from the Electric Power Board where she worked as a bookkeeper for 34
years. She loved gardening flowers, homemaking, reading, bird watching, shopping on
QVC, and Facebook.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Thomas Howell Fisher; an
infant son; sister, Joyce Weaver; and brother, Wilton Kelley.
Survivors include daughters Pam (Mac) Bryson of Whitwell, Rhonda (Hubert) Messer
and Debbie (Doug) Smith; both of Chattanooga; grandchildren Chad (Stephanie)
Parson, Wendi (Alvin) Smith, Lindsay (Steven) Latham, Libby Bryson, Erich (Nadia)
Smith, Emily (Jeffrey) Maddux; 14 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 11AM, Saturday, Dec. 26, 2015 at the East Chapel of
Chattanooga Funeral Home, with Dr. Bruce Sloan officiating.
Interment will follow at the Lakewood Memory Gardens, East. The family will receive
friends prior the the memorial service from 9:30 - 11 AM at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made in Billie Jean’s memory to Ridgeview Baptist
Church, 6 N Moore Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37411 or the Chattanooga Area Food Bank.
The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the staff of Elmcroft Assisted
