Carl Edward Lambert

He was born September 21, 1947 to the late Louis and Mary Lambert, who predeceased him. He had a long career in the communications industry, spanning decades. He loved his job and his extended work family, and had continued to work full time until his passing. He enjoyed reading science fiction, playing golf, and gardening.

He is also predeceased by his cousin Peter Gerhart, who was part of the “Michigan crew.”

He is survived by his younger brother, Phillip Lambert of Lookout Valley and his girlfriend Paula Griffith of Cleveland; daughter Templeton Bryson and her husband Jeff of Huntsville, AL, as well as cousins and extended family Bruce and Valerie Gerhart, Anne and Larry Larrison, Andy and Peg Gerhart, Tom Baker, Cap Baker, and Joan Gonzales, whom he enjoyed seeing yearly on his annual trips to Beulah, Michigan. ”

A Celebration of Life will be held at Chattanooga Funeral Home, East Chapel at 11:00 am Tuesday, July 20, 2021. Interment will follow the service at Lakewood Memory Gardens, West. The family will receive friends form 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm Monday, July 19, 2021 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made in his honor to a charity of your choice.
