

Charlotte Allison Miller, age 90, went home to be with her Savior on December 14, 2019 after an extended illness. She was born in Knoxville, TN on April 13, 1929 to parents, Harry S. Allison, Sr. & Estella Bryson Allison. Her family moved to Chattanooga when she was nine years old.
She graduated from Central High School in 1947 & for many years served on the Class Reunion Planning Committee. Following graduating from Edmondson Business College she worked as an executive secretary at Burkart-Schier Chemical Company and also at Team Evaluation Center. After moving to East Ridge, she worked in the election polls. She was a former member of Highland Park Baptist Church for over 60 years. While there, she served as a Sunday School teacher and director in the Children’s Department, sang in the choir and was very active in the Britton Missionary Circle until her health did not permit. She was a member of Brainerd Baptist and the Fidelis Sunday School Class for the last 10 years.
She loved her church, family and friends dearly. The family would like to thank the many friends for their overwhelming love and support during her illness.
She is preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Ralph E. Allison, a sister, Bobbie J. Wright, and brother, Harry S Allison.
She is survived by a daughter, Allison (Arthur) Sinkler of Atlanta, GA, and two grandchildren whom she adored, Margaret (Maggie) Sinkler, Arthur B Sinkler IV (Bo), sister-in-law, Peggy Allison, nephews Ralph Allison, Jr (Gloria), Rick Allison (Debbie), Harry Allison III, Henry Wright, Lisa Sisk, & several great nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on December 20, 2019 at Chattanooga Funeral Home East Chapel with Pastor Scott McCurdy officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 12:30 pm until service time. She will be laid to rest in the Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
Donations may be made in her memory to the Bereavement Program at Brainerd Baptist Church.
