Christine C. “Chris” Lewis, age 77 of Chattanooga died Monday April 2, 2012. She was born March 5, 1935 in Chattanooga to the late Ed and Vera Campbell. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Harold C. Henry and her second husband David A. Lewis.
Chris was a member of Ooltewah Baptist Church.
Survivors include her children Kenneth (Polly) Henry and Marcia (Dean) Kleto; grandchildren Millie, Jeff, Nancy, Virginia, Alex and Ellen; great grandchildren Bea, Judah and Connie; brother Bruce Campbell and a sister Ann Stamey. Chris enjoyed spending time with her family, her church, and her friends. She was a kind, caring and courageous woman who will be greatly missed.
Memorial services will be held 4:00 Thursday April 5, 2012 in the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Reverend Chris Gaither officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 5-8 and Thursday from 2-4.
