Claudia Ruth (Donaldson) Davis

Claudia was born in Coral Gables, Fl., on November 6, 1939 to the late David and Ruth Donaldson. She graduate from Coral Gables High School and went on to receive her Bachelor and Masters Degrees from Florida International University. Claudia also went to ETSU where she received her Bachelors Degree in Nursing. She ran a home health care agency for many years. Claudia was very active in church and played the piano and organ for many years. Upon relocating to the Chattanooga area she became a member of Brainerd Baptist Church where she continued to be active in the church until her health would no longer permit. She was also a member of the Fidelis Sunday School Class.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, John William Davis and her aforementioned parents.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her 3 daughters, Laurie Deanne Davis, Cherie Lynne Conzett, and Jodie Anne Davis, 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and numerous friends.

A Celebration of Claudia’s Life will be held in the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home on Sunday August 9, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Steve Rowland officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 2:00 p.m. A private graveside interment in the Lakewood Memory Gardens East will be held for the family on Monday August 10, 2020.
