David Louis Middlebrooks

David “Teddy” Middlebrooks Jr. age 53, of Chattanooga died on Saturday, May 7, 2011 in a local hospital. David was born on August 5, 1957 to Ann Middlebrooks Porch and the late David L. Middlebrooks Sr. “Teddy” was a resident at Orange Grove Center for sixteen years due to special needs. “Teddy” accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior in the mid-nineties under the teachings of Pastor James Sanders. “Teddy” will be remembered most for his great sense of humor and outgoing personality.

Preceded in death by his father, David L. Middlebrooks, Sr. and two sisters Cheryl Payne and Christine Middlebrooks. He will be lovingly missed by his mother and stepfather, Rev. Jessie and Ann Porch; one brother, Anthony (Teresa) Middlebrooks; and one sister, Patricia Merrell, all of Chattanooga, Tennessee. He will also be missed by a host of other relatives and dear friends.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 1 PM at Grace Baptist Tabernacle with Rev. Lurone Jennings officiating. Honorary Pallbearers will be residents of Glenwood B. Interment will be in Highland Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 12 Noon until 9 PM at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
