Doris Marie Hardie, age 90 of East Ridge died Wednesday May 30, 2012. She was born May 8, 1922 in Chattanooga to the late George and Odell Ketner. She was preceded in death by her husband James A. Hardie and her son James R. Hardie.
Mrs. Hardie was past State President of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
Survivors include her daughter Donna (Dwight) Neeley and grandson Nicholas Neeley.
Graveside services will be held Monday June 4, 2012 at 1:30 at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home Sunday from 2-6.
