Mr. Hill was born in Steubenville, Ohio. He proudly served in the U. S. Army as a paratrooper with the 101st Airborne. He was also a member of the former St. Andrews United Methodist Church and had worked for the City of Chattanooga as a heavy equipment operator for 33 years.
Surviving are his wife, Nina Hill; children, Sherry Hill McNeese, Denise Hill Randolph, David Wayne (Jennifer) Hill and Rusty Hill; grandchildren, Jason, Jessica and Tiffanie; and great-grandchildren, Cadin and Zane.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM on Thursday and 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
Funeral Services will be at 1:30 PM on Friday, December 4, 2015 at the funeral home with Rev. Dr. Dennis Flaugher officiating.
Burial will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
