Evelyn Baker Dyer

Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Dyer, Sr.; her parents, Joe and Colla Baker; and her sister, Sara Akridge.

She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Allen of Chattanooga, three sons, John E. Dyer, Jr. and Darel (Susan) Dyer, both of Chattanooga, and Mark (Jean) Dyer of Highlands Ranch, CO; grandchildren, Taylor (Eric) Summers and Will Allen of Chattanooga, Rob (Courtney) Allen of Nashville, Megan Dyer of Denver, CO, Baylan (Seth) Meganck of Nashville, Lennon (Morgan) Dyer, Logan Meacham, and Alley Dyer of Chattanooga; great-grandchildren Harper and Barrett Summers of Chattanooga, and Bridge Meganck of Nashville; sister, Betty (Bill) Greenleaf of Kingston; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Monday, October 29, 2018, in Chattanooga National Cemetery with Rev. Dwight Kilbourne officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Monday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
