Mrs. Harris was born and raised in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She moved to Chattanooga when she married Arnold Harris. She was a dedicated member of Scott Memorial Church of God for 65 years where she served in various positions.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Harris; and parents, Walter and Angelina Haviland.
Surviving are her two daughters, Diane (Gary) Bowman and Cheryl (Todd) Thrasher; and grandchildren, Blake and Erin Bowman and Donna Thrasher.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
Funeral Services will be at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at the funeral home with Reverend Danny Pinter officiating.
Burial will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
