“Mickie” Hazel June Woods, age 64, of Chattanooga died Saturday October 23 at her home. She had been employed at J.C. Penney at Hamilton Place. She was preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Charlotte and Joe Sparks. Survivors include her husband, Earl Woods; daughter, Michelle Young; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several aunts, uncles, nepews and nieces.
Funeral services will be held at 10AM Wednesday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road with Dr. J. Delores Bird officiating. Burial will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
