Mrs. Bush was born and raised in Knoxville. She was a longtime resident of Chattanooga where she retired from Miller Bothers Department Store as a buyer for the Bridal department. She also was a consultant for many local weddings. She and her husband also provided engraving for years for Frost Cutlery.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Madison and Ruby Arnold; and sisters, Betty Ballew, Carol Strange, Mary Lou McGhee and Emma Horn.
Surviving are her husband, O. D. Bush; daughter, Vickie Hagan and her husband, Louis Prosterman; son, Jeff Hagan; grandchildren, Madison and Sean Hagan of Phoenix, AZ; stepson, Kurt (Donna) Bush; stepdaughter, Karen (Ronnie) Fairrington; five step-grandchildren; brother, James (Dot) Arnold; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at the funeral home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
