Jo Ann Joiner was a selfless and kindhearted woman whose life was guided by her strong faith in the Lord. A devoted Baptist, she was a longtime member of Stanley Heights Baptist Church and remained actively involved in her church family even when she became homebound.
Jo Ann was married to her beloved husband, Larry Joiner, and together they had two children, Paula and Larry, both of whom preceded her in death. She found great joy in sewing and embroidery, creating with her hands an expression of love and care for others.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Joiner Sr., her son, Larry Joiner Jr, and her daughter, Paula Chapman.
Those left to cherish her memory include her sister, Paulette Collins; her niece, Melissa Collins; her grandchildren, Lynda Robey, Roy Chapman, and Hope Joiner.
