John E. “Ed” Tapp, age 83 of Chattanooga died Tuesday, August 07, 2012. He was born December 13, 1928 in Rock Spring, Georgia to the late J. W. and Mary Ruth Tapp. He was preceded in death by his brother James W. Tapp, Jr.
Survivors include his wife Brenda Joyce Tapp, son John E. (Stacy) Tapp, II; grandchildren Mattie Tapp and Macy Tapp; sister-in-law Verna Mae Tapp and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be announced later.
